A brief synopsis of our Mum's life.

Created by Lucille 9 years ago
Our Mum was born at Hubble’s Record Shop in Denton on 23rd Feb 1946 the 3rd child to William & Lily Hubble and little sister to Doreen & Bill. Throughout her childhood Mum was mad about horses and spent most of her time with her horse Danny at the Old Rectory Farm in Denton. In 1963 she married Roger and in August 1964 Lucille was born followed by Graham in February 1967. She worked and operated the Hubble Family Record shop in the Supermarket, Hyde, Cheshire where she met Tom who she later married and Sean was born in In 1984. Our Mum made a career change and trained to be a Probation Officer which led her to a position as Court Welfare Officer with Caff Cass until she retired in 2013 after making many friends and enjoying a fulfilled career of 27 years. Our Mum loved travelling and made frequent visits to her beloved Sister Doreen and her family in Melbourne Australia. Mum took herself round the world and visited countries such as China, Japan, America, Cuba, India, Sri Lanka, and many more – during her travels she has bathed elephants and swam with dolphins to name but a few adventures! In her free time she took great pleasure shopping, dining out and partying along with breeding and showing her beloved Boston Terrier Dogs. She was very dedicated and so proud of her Grandsons Alfie Joe & Jack She was also famous for her battered cars which her family fondly referred to as ‘Beirut Taxis’ as she couldn’t drive down a narrow street without losing a wing mirror! In summary, our Mum was a fun loving, caring and loyal person who died very suddenly and much too young.
